Charles Ayiekoh joins U23 technical team

Kirinya Jinja SS FC head coach Charles Ayiekoh Lukula has joined the U23 national team (Kobs) technical team.

Ayiekoh has volunteered to work with Wasswa Bbosa by the virtue that Sebastien Desabre will be occupied by preparations of the senior team (Cranes) ahead of the Cape Verde game.

The Kirinya tactician welcomed this opportunity and vowed to reciprocate FUFA’s trust in him,

I have always remained in line with my job until everyone said Ayiekoh is ready for the national team. I thank my bosses FUFA for this opportunity. Said Ayiekoh

Ayiekoh was one of the best coaches last season after inspiring Kirinya JSS to a respectable finish of 5th in the league.

He temporarily work with Wasswa Bbosa as head coach and former Cranes custodian Sadiq Wassa as the goalkeeping coach.

The Kobs will face South Sudan between November 14th and 26th in a two-legged encounter while Uganda cranes will host Cape Verde still in the same month on 17th and later play Nigeria on 20th.
