CHAN 2020: Katongole steps up to replace injured Revita

Police FC defender Henry Katongole has been summoned to the CHAN team to replace KCCA’s John Revita who is injured.

Revita sustained a knee injury during a Uganda Premier League game between KCCA and URA and has since been sidelined.

Henry Katongole who now steps up to fill the void has previously played for SC Villa, Vipers SC and Express FC.

The Uganda Cranes started preparations for the forthcoming CHAN Championship on Monday March 2nd, 2020 with 30 players present for a single training session at GEMS Cambridge facility in Butabika.

Last week, Uganda Cranes head coach Jonathan McKinstry’s named a provisional squad of 34 players.

Uganda is in Group C of the 2020 CHAN tournament alongside defending Champions Morocco, neighbors Rwanda and debutants Togo.
