Calvary FC head coach resigns from his role

He leaves Calvary in 5th place on the Elgon group table with 13 points having accumulated in 10 games

A day after Calvary Football Club edging Mbale Heroes 1-0 at Green Light Stadium in Arua, head coach Ahmed Olima Borin has resigned from his duties at the club.

Olima who tendered in his resignation letter on Monday 24th-May as reported by Dribbler Sports was the man at the helms of Calvary when they edged Northern Gateway 2-0 courtesy of Jamil Asega and Kassim Talib to gain big league promotion.

“I hereby resign from my role as the Head Coach of Calvary Football Club with immediate effect from 24th May due to personal and confidential reasons, I confirm that I have no claim whatsoever of the kind against the club,”

“I thank the club management, fans, players and other stake holders of the club for the privilege and opportunity to work with them and wish the club all the best.”

Calvary Football Club who are playing in their debut season of the Big League are currently fifth in Elgon group with 13 points accumulated in 10 games.

They will play their next league game on Thursday 3rd June against Maroons Football Club at Luzira Prisons grounds.
