KCCA FC manager Morley Byekwaso has decried the opportunities wasted by his men in their game against SC Villa at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru.

Benson Muhindo scored a late penalty to steal a point for the Jogoos at the stroke of full-time.

Byekwaso believes such a thing could not have happened has his troops scored more goals out of the opportunities created in the first stanza of the game.

Speaking to the media in the post match conference, Byekwaso said ;

“We wanted to manage the game and we did it so well, we possessed the ball so well but we were not so effective in the final third.”

However, he was quick to defend his team by terming it to be “luck of fortune” for this game.

He said;

“I think we were just unfortunate but we shall keep on insisting and doing more practice about similar situations.”

KCCA will have forwards Charles Lwanga and Davis Kasirye to blame for both received massive opportunities to hurt their former team but the young Martin Senkooto in goal for SC Villa stood high to be counted.

The Kasasiro boys still mantain top spot with 27 games from 11 games and they will host Express FC on 22nd December Lugogo.
