Buwekula raring to go as Masaza cup resumes

After a week’s break, Masaza Cup tournament resumes on Monday 28th-December at FUFA Technical Center in Njeru.

The tournament is played behind closed doors with all players and staff being subjected to mandatory Covid-19 test before joining the camp.

Robert Kafero the man at the helms of Buwekula a side targeting their maiden trophy believes the preparations they have done are good enough to see them scoop some silverware.

“We have had enough and good preparations that can see us take the trophy back home.”

“The players know what we are after and have vowed to play each game as a cup final.”

Kafeero has not been affected by the pandemic since their results came out the way they wanted,

“God is good that all results came out the way we wanted them to be, we are all negative and free from the Corona Virus.”

Buwekula is in Bulange group alongside Busiro, Buvuma, Kyaggwe and Busujju.

They kick start their campaign against Kyaggwe on Monday 28th-December at 3:00pm

Bulemeezi and Mawogola who were in Butikiro group already made it to the quarter finals.
