Newly promoted Kitara Football Club and Busoga United have fully full filled the minimum requirements for their respective home grounds and have been issued with the licenses for the new season.
Both teams had not been included on the draft fixtures where the 2020/21 season was expected to kick off on 3rd December.
This was confirmed by a statement released by the Federation of Uganda Football Association,

“Busoga United FC and Kitara FC have fullfilled the minimum requirements for their new stadiums. They have been granted Licenses.”
“Busoga United will use FUFA Technical Center while Kitara FC Kavumba Stadium.”
The document further stated how newly promoted UPDF FC, record champions and URA FC are yet to full-fill the minimum requirements,
“Three clubs SC Villa, UPDF FC and URA are yet to full-fill the minimum requirements on their stadiums.”
“They have not been issued with Licenses for the new season.”
Kitara Football Club, Busoga United, Express FC, KCCA FC, MYDA FC, Onduparaka FC, Vipers SC, Police FC, Solitilo Bright Stars FC, Wakiso Giants, Mbarara City, Kyetume FC and BUL are the clubs fully cleared ahead of the forthcoming season.
