Former Gor Mahia Burundian roving right back Karim Nzigiyimana has joined Vipers Sports Club on a two year deal, Swift Sports understands.

Karim Nzigiyimana’s transfer to the Venoms had been delayed by failure to attain the International Transfer Certificate (ITC) from the Kenyan football ruling body in time.

Nzigiyimana has been a free agent since partying ways with Gor Mahia last December and since then, Vipers initiated open talks with the former Rayon Sports player.

It’s also understood that the Burundi national team captain will be unveiled at Kitende this week.

An ideal recruitment in the right back position, Nzigiyimana is known for his explosive movements down the right flank and making trademark crosses relentlessly.

Nzigiyimana joins former Gor Mahia teammate at Kitende in Innocent Wafula.

Vipers Sports Club who are under the tutelage of Kenyan Michael Nam Ouma, are three points behind the table leaders KCCA FC as the title run gets more intense.
