King of Kings 0-2 Bunyaruguru Girls

Bunyaruguru Girls became the first team to book a place in the semi finals of the ongoing FUFA Women Elite League at Njeru after beating their Western neighbors King of Kings 2-0.

Crested Cranes forward Norah Alupo scored the two decisive goals whereas King of Kings finished the game with 10 players after defender Florence Kaheru was sent off in the first half.

Kaheru was shown red for a second bookable offense after bringing down Halima Katusabe just outside the box five minutes to the halftime break.

Alupo broke the deadlock from the resultant free kick with a sublime effort past goalkeeper Diana Kirungi.

The former Lango Queens forward doubled Bunyaruguru’s lead with a routine finish past an onrushing Kirungi in the 63rd minute.

Bunyaruguru will face Rines in the semi-finals on Tuesday.
