Bulega named Musu clan head coach


Ahead of the Bika football game opener between Musu and Mutima Muyanja, Musu clan has named Faridah Bulega as their head coach.

Bulega is also the head coach for the Crested Cranes and Kampala Queens team playing in the FUFA Women elite league.

She will be working with Siraje Kayimbye and Abdulkarim Hussein as the assistant head coach and fitness coach respectively.

This will be her second time to work in Bika football having worked with Cyrus Nsubuga as his assistant at Mamba Gabunga in 2017.

Bulega, a CAF B license holder was the first female to coach a Fufa Big League team, Wakiso United in 2015-16. She was voted Fufa coach of the year in 2015 beating Mark Twinamatsiko (The Saints) and Kawempe’s Ayub Khalifa.

She has also previously coached Gafford Ladies and guided them to their third place finish in the inaugural FWEL season.

Musu will open up with Mutima Muyanja on 11th- May at St Joseph of Nazareth Katende on a function that will be graced by the Kabaka of Buganda His majesty Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II.

Nkima clan are the defending Champions as they defeated Mpindi 1-0 courtesy of Arthur Kiggundu’s goal.
