BUL vs POLICE: Tough visit for the Cops as they aim to bounce back from opening day loss

BUL has won three of the past four meetings, Police have won only once

BUL FC will welcome wounded Police FC at Kyabazinga Stadium Bugembe in their first game of the 2021/22 season.

Police FC lost 2-0 to Vipers SC home in their opening match and they will hope to make amends when the take BUL FC, a side they have only beaten once in the last four meetings.

BUL FC have won the other three times.

BUL FC coach Isabirye targets a good home start with victory against a side that finished better than them last season,

“Police FC finished in top positions and we believe they are among the sides we should collect maximum points from so as to enlighten our chances of winning something this season.”

Saidi Keni, George Kasonko, Musa Esenu,Godfrey Akol and Ibrahim Nsimbe are the men to watch for BUL.

Despite a poor record against BUL away Police FC coach Abudallah Mubiru is confident of victory as he believes his side can not accept a second consecutive defeat,

“We thank Allah for the gift of life and working environment despite the statistics not favoring us having lost all our away games against them but it is a motivation to us.”

“We are ready to make changes tomorrow in order to get maximum points. My side is not ready to suffer a second consecutive loss as we hope a full squad especially the players that missed out due to license issues.”

Yusuf Ssozi, Muwadda Mawejje, Brian Mayanja Mululi and goalkeeper Tom Ikara will have to be at their best against the Jinja based side for victory.

The Cops will miss us captain Tonny Mawejje and Johnson Odong due to injury.
