BUL risks losing close to 10 players after running their contracts down

However, Musa Esenu, Godfrey Akol and Fredson Gwoto have been contacted for contract negotiations


Over ten players are set to leave Uganda Premier League side BUL Football Club

The players are Fredson Gwoto, Musa Esenu, Godfrey Akol, Joseph Semujju, Walter Ochora, Richard Wandyaka, Fredrick Kigozi, Robert Mukongotya, Jimmy Kulaba, Denis Okot Deogracious Ojok and Musa Walangalira.

Their employment contracts have expired and head coach Alex Isabirye is adamant to renew them while others are not willing to sign despite being approached by the management.

Swift Sports has learnt that BUL is also in talks with midfielder George Kasonko of Busoga United Football Club for a possible move.

BUL Football Club finished 11th with 33 points in the recently concluded season and will be targeting a better finish in the 2021/22 season.

They had also progressed to the semi finals of the Stanbic Uganda Cup the far they have ever reached in this tournament.

The club earlier on agreed to reward Alex Isabirye a new contract contract as the head coach for the next season as earlier reported by this website.
