BUL in advanced stages to sign SC Villa goalkeeper

Jinja based BUL FC have approached the representatives of SC Villa goal keeper Meddie Kibirige for a potential move to the east.

Kibirige, the first choice goalkeeper for the national Beach soccer team the Sand Cranes is facing stiff competition in the Villa posts after the emergency of Martin Senkooto. Saidi Keni is also an option.

BUL need to improve their goal keeping department that has leaked 41 goals in 27 matches during the concluded season. The department is currently occupied by Sanon Mulabi and Abdul Kimera.

This website understands that the club has offered a performance based renewal 2 year contract which will see him stay at the side until 2024.

He is an experienced goal keeper after winning the 2014/15 league title with Vipers SC and has also played for Aurum Roses, Bazar Holdings and Mutundwe Lions.

Before joining SC Villa, Kibirige was on the books of Tooro United before they were relegated to the Big League after the 2018/19 season.
