BUL FC sweep Bukedea Town Council aside to book last 8 berth

BUL FC came from a goal down to score 4 as they were eliminating big league side Bukedea Town Council to make it to the quarter finals of Stanbic Uganda Cup at FUFA Technical Center Njeru.

Ivan Wakabi put the hosts in the lead as early as the 3rd minute before Jean Pierre Kambale Muhindo, Hamisi Tibita and Willis Otong scored in the 16th, 26th and 44th minutes respectively.

Mid season signing Ezikiel Katende sealed it off by scoring the last one of the day , 7 minutes to full time .

BUL head coach Peter Onen highlighted the impact of the victory on his team who managed to bounce back from a disappointing loss in the league to KCCA.

” We conceded an early goal but that was not a threat to us although it was it was not expected in our game plan.”

” As per the match we played, it was a game which was to raise us back into the competition in the league since we were heart broken in our last game against KCCA FC” he added.

BUL FC will play their next league game on Wednesday 20th February hosting SC Villa at FUFA Technical Center Njeru.

BUL FC join Wakiso Giants , Vipers SC, and Nebbi Central at the quarter finals.
