Police were pegged back by Oromchan Villa’s early strike that beat Davis Mutebi in the 7th minute.

As the Cops tried to regroup to bounce back, another scare befell them with only 3 minutes into the second half, this time it was Douglas Owori who punished them for their reckless defending.

The damage would have been more severe for Abdallah Mubiru’s men, had it not been for the profligacy of Hamis Tibita, Owori and Oromchan Villa.

The Police tactician threw on the exciting Pius Kaggwa to try unlocking the visitors’ defence but it was a little to late as Ronald Nyanzi’s late effort couldn’t save their day.

The cops will now have to wait until Tuesday for redemption, they will be facing a daunting journey to Arua where they will take on new comers Paidha Black Angels.

On the other hand, BUL will take host Tooro United FC at the Njeru technical center.

BUL current seat in 4th place behind Bright stars, URA FC, and Onduparaka FC. The cops sit 10th on the 16 team log.
