BUL FC sign former Cranes striker from Proline

Kiiza is one of the few players to have featured for Tanzania's biggest two clubs Simba and Yanga Africans FC


Uganda Premier league mid tablers BUL have FC have completed the signing of experienced striker Diego Hamis Kiiiza.

Swift Sports sources confirm that the striker has signed a contract that will see him stay with the Jinja based club for the next 12 months.

The journeyman has been on the books of Proline FC and managed to help them win a place in the Big league playoffs.

He was capped 26 times by the Ugandan national team and managed to score in excesses of 10 goals.

Before joining Proline, Kiiza spent a full season at Vipers SC with who he won the Uganda Premier league title .

The stint at Vipers came after a long semi professional journey that saw him play for two Tanzania rivals Simba SC and Yanga Africans .

Kiiza also played for Al Hilal Obeid in Sudan, Fasil Kenema in Ethiopia and Free State Stars in South Africa.

Besides Vipers, Kiiza featured for Uganda Revenue Authority in the Uganda Premier league on two occasions.

BUL are understood to be rebuilding for the upcoming new season and are in dire need to fill the gap that is bound to be created by the impending departure of Robert Mukongotya whose contract has expired and likely not to renew it.
