BUL FC set to reward Alex Isabirye with new deal

Isabirye has guided BUL to the semifinals of the Uganda cup

Alex Isabirye Musongola will sign a new contract as BUL FC head coach, Swift Sports can reliably confirm.

Isabirye was appointed as an interim coach for the remainder of the season as a replacement for Arthur Kyesimira who was relieved of his duties in April.

Isabirye’s immediate task was steering the Jinja club to safety as well as laying the foundation for the next season.

Swift Sports understands the hierarchy of BUL FC is convinced with the club’s progress under the tutelage of Isabirye.

The CAF A Licensed coach is expected to put pen to paper on a two year contract after confirming the club’s safety in the league as well securing a place in the Stanbic Uganda Cup semi finals.

Isabirye has managed five wins, three draws and lost on three occasions in the 11 games he has been in the BUL dugout across all competitions.

Prior to his appointment on an interim basis, Isabirye coached Somali side Horseed SC as well as Kyetume in the same campaign.
