BUL FC confirm signing of Tusaba and Kalyowa

BUL FC have confirmed the signing of defender Najib Tusaba Gwaido and goalkeeper Emmanuel Kalyowa.

As earlier reported by this website, both players signed employment contracts of two years each.

Tusaba is a central defender who played for Onduparaka until the end of the 2020/21.

He is a former player of Kansai Plascon, Kampala University and UPDF FC, a side he help earn top flight promotion in the 2019/20 season.

“I am excited to join my dream club in Uganda. I am proud to be finally a BUL FC player and I promise better performances come the new season,” Tusaba said via the club’s website.

Kalyowa rejoins the side featured for between 2015 to 2017. He has also played for SC Victoria University, URA FC, Kyetume FC, Nyamityobora and had a stint in Kenya with Sofapaka.

Kalyowa will be competing with newly signed goalkeepers Hannington Ssebwalunyo and Saidi Keni as well as Sanon Mulabi.

BUL FC have been one of the busiest side in the ongoing transfer window.

They have already signed Ivan Wani, Douglas Muganga and George Kasonko all from Busoga United.

Their other new recruits are Dickson Niwamanya (Kigezi HomeBoyz), Richard Ayiko and Ibrahim Nsimbe from MYDA.
