BUL FC head coach Peter Onen has intimated an immediate target for his team as preparations for the new season intensify in Jinja.
Onen believes he has a relatively good squad required to undertake the his personal target in his first season as the club’s head coach.
“Preparations are in a high gear ahead of the new season and our target is to finish in the top five positions by the end of the season.”
He said in an exclusive with Swift Sports
” I believe the squad we have is good enough to give the desired results, new players have managed to cope up with the environment and everything is moving smoothly in the camp.” he added.
Onen calls upon the fans to support their club come 28th September when the league kicks off,
” I call upon our fans to come and give us support when the league starts just like they have always done.”
Having been at the Jinja based BUL FC since 2016 as the assistant coach, Onen was elevated to the head coach post last month after Kefa Kisala’s resignation.
BUL FC finished 7th on Uganda Premier league log last season having collected 39 points.
