Bright Stars : DDWWD

The last 9 meetings between the two sides have seen Bright Stars the dominant side, winning 4, drawing 3 and BUL only managing 2 victories. When both sides met in the first round encounter at Champions Stadium Mwererwe in November last year, Bright Stars emerged 1-0 victors.

At home this season, the Jinja based side has managed 7 wins, drawn 5 and only lost twice in the 14 games they have played at home.
On the other hand, Bright Stars has only registered one victory on the road, drawing 7 and losing 5 in the 13 league outings.

The home side will miss the services of Hamis Tibita who is with the U-20 team. Defender William Otongo will first undergo a late fitness test ahead of this contest. Richard Wandyaka alongside Douglas Owori are expected to lift up the Jinja based side.

Bright Stars have everyone available for selection and will heavily look up to skipper Nelson Senkatuka who has 13 league goals to his name for inspiration.

Victory for Kefa Kisala’s charges can see them displace their visitors tomorrow from 7th place, whereas a win for Bright Stars can move to 6th place which is currently occupied by Maroons.
