BUL FC shared spoils with Onduparaka in a goalless draw at Kakindu Stadium Jinja on match day 8.

In the first stanza of the game both team looked defensive with no serious attacks.

Only open chance came in the 36th when Alfred Leku broke through BUL FC’s defence crossing to Ceaser Okhuti who failed to put Onduparaka FC in the lead instead the ball hit the post.

Towards the end of the first half Musa Walangalira failed to put BUL in the lead through a beautiful cross from Mike Ndera instead the ball hit the bar.

In the second half teams brought in substitutions to but all yielded no results.

Daniel Shabena was introduced for Patrick Asiku in the 53th minute as Vianne Sekajugo came in for Gaddafi Wahab for BUL and Onduparaka respectively. Pressure increased on both sides but couldn’t yield results.

Coach Kefa Kisala said he was impressed with the improvement in his team’s bonding and understanding which he believes will help them in the upcoming games,

I think there is a very big change from the way we have been playing of recent where we have been playing as individuals it’s now team work which can compete.

“We just need to correct a few mistakes we made and concentrate when we are nearing the goal and just keep it up.


BUL FC lies 11th with nine points as Onduparaka FC is third with 15 points on the table of sixteen. BUL FC will visit Masavu at Bugonga Fisheries in Entebbe as Onduparaka hosts Kirinya Jinja SS at Betway Greenlight Stadium in Arua on 18th November 2017.
