BUL aim to seal first semi final berth against Proline

BUL hosts defending champions Proline in the return leg of the quarter finals of the Stanbic Uganda Cup at Kyabazinga Stadium in Bugembe.

The hosts won the first leg 2-0 courtesy of Vitalis Tabu and Joseph Ssemujju’s goals.

Alex Isabirye targets keep a clean sheet as well as going on with the winning mentality,

“In the past we have struggled with keeping a clean sheet and that will be our primary target in this tie.”

“We also want to maintain the winning mentality as we also focus on building a strong team that can win at least something next season.”

Isabirye has no injury concerns but may defender Kenneth Ssemakula who is engaged with national duty.

BUL will look on Ssemujju, captain Walter Ochora, Vitalis Tabu and Denis Okot in their target to storm the semi finals.

Brian Umony, Noordin Bunjo, Joseph Mandela, Mato Brian and Nicholas Ssebwato will have to put up a spirited fight in help the defending champions progress to the semi finals.

Proline will be without Ibrahim Bonyo due to personal issues, Yusuf Mukisa is injured, Savio Kabugo is on leave after losing his father in law but welcome back Norman Kugonza.

Proline are the defending champions they won it in 2019 after defeating Bright Stars 5-4 on spot kicks following a one all stalemate in Masaka
