Bright Stars continued with their free scoring form against Ndejje University at the Arena of visions in Luwero.
Goals from Dan Birikwalira, Juma Sebadduka and substitute John Opejo Kokas ensured that Fred Kajoba’s side go second on the table and become the highest scoring team in the league with 13 goals.
Birikwalira scored the first one in the 28th minute before setting up for Sebadduka who made it 2-0 6 minutes later.
Opejo Kokas put the game beyond reasonable doubt with a tap in from another Birikwalira delivery 19 minutes to normal time.
Anwar Ntege was guilty for squandering the hosts’ glorious chance from an Isaa Mubiru inch perfect cross.
Mubiru together with Bright Stars duo of Augustine Kacancu and Brian Kayanja were the only players booked by referee Richard Kimbowa.
Bright Stars skipper Nelson Senkatuka would have registered his name on the score sheet but he was denied by the woodwork right at the death.
Bright Stars who thumped Kirinya JSS 4-1 last week has now scored 7 goals in the last two games. They sit 2nd on 14 points.
Ndejje University who are under the tutelage of Raymond Komakech have on the other hand conceded 7 goals in their last 2 games following a 4-1 defeat at the hands of BUL FC last week.
