Bright Stars shock dismal KCCA FC at Kavumba

Goals from Joseph Janjali and Ronald Ssempala saw Bright stars FC condemn KCCA FC to the 4th loss of the season with a 2:1 defeat at Kavumba Recreation Grounds. Muzamir Mutyaba scored the consolation for the visitors.

Joseph Janjali will go down in the books of history as having scored the earliest goal of the season so far with his goal coming in the first minute if the game.

Muzamir Mutyaba retaliated with an equaliser off a Ssekisambu assist 43 minutes later to send the game level by halftime.

Ronald Ssempala restored the Paul Kiwanuka coached side’s lead after 33 minutes into the second stanza.

The Kasasiro boys have so far lost 4 games out of 17 but remain in the second position on the log with 35 points 7 adrift of leads Vipers SC.

Bright stars finished first round in the red zone but this has been their second successive win in the second round of the season.

They now have 16 points and are in the 12th position.
