Bright stars FC announce management partnership with Japanese company HONDA ESTILO.

Bright stars has this morning announced a partnership with SOLTILO UGANDA Ltd a subsidiary of HONDA ESTILO Co Ltd and they will become a major share holder in the ownership of the club. Honda Estilo is a Japanese company owned by footballer Keisuke Honda who plays with Mexican club C. F Pachuca that plays in the Liga MX.

The major objectives of the partnership will be ensuring production of highly skilled and technical players that would be exported to major over seas leagues, they will also look for sponsors both in Africa and Japanese companies to make the club self sustaining.

Bright stars will be HONDA ESTILO’s 3rd owned professional club alongside SV Horn of Austria and Soltilo Angkor FC in Cambodia. They aim to produce players with the physical strength of Africans and the positive strong mindset of the Japanese.

Message from Keisuke Honda:

” We are going to operate a professional club in Uganda. When I visited Uganda in June, I was moved by its high potential and football fever. I decided to take a challenge in the continent of Africa.

It will be the 3rd country to do professional club management overseas, following clubs in Austria and Cambodia. Uganda is a country that accepts more than 85% of children and women and it’s our future goal is to provide such children with the environment and opportunity to have dreams.

Keisuke Honda is a Japanese footballer who currently plies his trade for Mexican side C. F Pachuca. He has played for Nagoya Grampus 8 in Japan, VVV Venlo in the Netherlands, CSKA Moscow in Russia and AC Milan in Russia.

The club directors Mr Ronald Mutebi, Ahmed Marsha Hussein, Grace Kwizera will continue working hand in hand with SOLTILO Ltd general manager Yo Tabuchi, Mathias Mugwanya will continue in his capacity as the club CEO and Ian Mutenda as the Director of Football.
