Bright Stars, BUL settle for a 1-1 draw at Mwererwe

Bright Stars 1-1 BUL FC

BUL football club fought from a goal behind to force a 1-1 against Bright Stars at the Champions Stadium in Mwererwe.

The two sides had played to a barren first half before Nelson Senkatuka put Fred Kajoba’s men in the lead moments after the resumption.

Budding striker Deogracious Ojok tied the contest at 1-1 with a sublime header two minutes off the hour mark.

The visitors had Villa Oromchan, Joshua Lubwama Letti and center back Willis Otong all booked for unsporting behavior.

The results implies that Bright Stars slip to the third place on 19 points while Onduparaka who emerged 2-1 victors in the West Nile derby take up the second position.

Peter Onen’s BUL FC remains 6th on the log with 15 points from 9 league outings so far.

The two sides will return to league action on Tuesday 11th December with Bright Stars paying a visit at Police FC.

BUL on the other hand will play hosts to the second placed Onduparaka at the FUFA Njeru technical center.
