Bright Stars 1-0 URA FC: In form Senkatuka inspires Bright Stars to victory against URA

Nelson Senkatuka celebrates his goal against URA

Talisman Nelson Senkatuka took his season goal tally to 4 when he scored home a cool finish to guide Bright stars past an uninspiring URA.

The only goal of the game came in the 43rd minute and it was enough to seal all 3 points for the hosts and it inflicted more misery to Ibrahim Kirya, whose team is yet to win an away game.

URA dominated the game but all their dominance counted for nothing and the best chance fell to striker Ajab Abudul Rahman in the 36th minute but he disappointingly failed to put it away.

The game saw Bright stars’ headcoach Fred Kajoba return to the bench after a four match ban by the Azam Uganda Premier League Secretariat when he was accused of verbally attacking referee Denis Batte.

Fred Kajoba was quick to announce that his team are back on track and he expects them to build on that morale boosting win for the future games, he said

  • ” My bosses assigned me to be among the top 6 teams to in the league this season. Am happy we are on truck and we could even do better.”

Bright stars fc will play visitors against Express fc at Wankulukuku in their next game on 31st, Oct ,2017 while URA will be hosting Sc Villa at Mandela National Stadium in Namboole on 04th, Nov ,2017 in their next fixture.
