Moses Golola has wowed to knock down Ongom Kizito Abaasi alias Kasumaali in a street fight dubbed heroes day street challenge fight (75kg) middle Weight organised by Step by Step promotions. The fight is slated for 9th June at the streets of Wilson Road, Kampala.
During a press conference held at the venue for the fight, both fighters are optimistic of a glorious night.
"I was to fight Kasumaali on Boxing day last year and he came up with many excuses, this time we have signed an agreement and he is ready to fight me."
"Everyone knows that Golola Moses is not a joking subject, I want to tell my fans that I will beat Kasumaali and I am ready to show him that I am the real nail." I have prepared well and I am ready to nail Kasumaali."
Ongom also promised his fans to shut down Golola on what is expected to be a special Boxing night
"I have been preparing for this fight for a longtime and I can't wait to shut down Golola. He should know that action speaks louder than words, I can assure you that I will explosively destroy him on the night of the fight."
Salim Uhuru the Uganda Professional Boxing commission president warned the organisers step by step to follow the regulations and they should know time is paramount
"We have approved this fight, last time we had a challenge with Step by step organising the 26th Boxing day event called ekibitu that run until morning.
"I cautioned them and this time with the KCCA letter time is paramount from 4pm to midnight. If they are to organize another fight they should follow the regulations."
Golola is known in kickboxing, has only been engaged in only five Boxing bouts, but the official database of Boxing knows only one his unanimous decision victory over Saidi Chako in Mityana three years ago.
His opponent Kasumaali made his Boxing debut in 2013, he has three wins and only suffered defeat to Haruna Hassan Diba. His last fight was against Oswald Maneno, coming out victorious.
