Ffumbe coach Richards Kansole is confident about making it to quarter finals ahead of their return leg against Njovu on Wednesday 4th July at Wankulukuku.
The first leg ended 3-1 in favour of Ffumbe courtesy of Martin Kizza Lubwama’s brace and another goal from Solomon Walusimbi while Yusuf Ssaka pulled one back for Njovu.
Kansole believes the players are in good shape to give him the required result,
” Am confident about my squad and thank God all players are fully fit without any injury concern so let our fans come expecting the desired result.”
” It is a great honour working with the 2017 Bika finalists and this year our target is lifting the title with team work and determination success is our way.” he added.
The former Express FC goalkeeper was appointed the coach of Ffumbe this year and he is assisted by Richard Ntege.
Ffumbe have won the Bika football tournament on 3 occasions. Last year, they lost the final 1-0 to the eventual winners Nte courtesy of Umar Kasumba’s first half header at Bukalasa Technical institute in Luweero.
