BIG LEAGUE: Proline annihilate sorry Bumate in nine-goal encounter

Proline Football Club walloped Bumate United 9-0 in a top vs bottom of the table affair at StarTimes stadium, Lugogo.

Ivan Bogere scored a quadruple (four goals) whereas Hakim Kiwanuka (brace), Bright Anukani, Ibrahim Bonyo and Sam Tiyo Kintu scored the others to complete the rout.

Bogere was on target in the 3rd, 41st, 83rd and 88th minutes to extend his season tally to 13 goals.

Bonyo netted the third goal two minutes to the halftime break before Kiwanuka scored on back to back in 54th and 59th minute.

Anukani made it 6-0 in the 74th whereas midfielder Sam Kintu capped the day at the stroke of full time.

Bumate who sit bottom of the table with no point, have now lost 15 games so far.

The win puts Shafik Bisaso’s charges to 37 points, four clear of second placed Kiboga Young who play against Kireka United at Namboole on Thursday.

Kansai Plascon are third with 31 points accumulated from 16 games and will play against Ntinda United at Lugogo.
