BIG LEAGUE : Katwe United start survival mission with 4-1 thumping of Kataka

Katwe United thumped Kataka FC 4-1 in an opener of the second half of the season at StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo.

Allan Tebusweke bagged a brace while January transfer window recruits Solomon Wafula and Habib Kavuma scored the other goals to register Katwe United’s second win of the season.

Wafula opened the scoreline in the 20th minute before Kavuma doubled the lead from the penalty mark moments into the second half.

Tebusweke scored his first in the 53rd minute from a Billy Nkata ball.

He then made it 4-0 at the hour mark.

Francisco Odando pulled one back for the Kataka FC side.

The win was Allan Kabonge’s first as Katwe United head coach since taking over last October.
