Gadaffi FC 2-0 Proline FC

Gadaffi FC have officially gained promotion from the Big League to the Uganda Premier League.

Stephen Munguchi and substitute Frank Mulimi scored the two important goals in Gadaffi FC’s 2-0 victory over Proline FC at Njeru.

Munguchi headed home James Otim’s well delivered cross in the 3rd minute to give the Soldier Boys an early lead.

Proline FC tried to look a leveller all in vain as they could not breakthrough Gadaffi’s defence commanded by experienced defender Lawrence Kasadha and Najib Fessali.

With the game destined to end 1-0 in favor of Gadaffi, Mulimu scored the second for the Jinja based side off a well delivered Joel Madondo cross following Ronald Bithum Nsumbiano’s spadework in the build up.

The Hassan Zzungu coached side now joins Arua Hill SC and Tooro United as the promoted teams to Uganda Premier League.
