The two also boast of the remaining unbeaten records, KCCA are the only team yet to lose at home whereas URA have not lost away.

Regardless of the impressive record , KCCA head coach Mike Mutebi is confident that his young guns have the ability to unlock URA’s organised set and protect their own home unbeaten run.

” URA are a very organised side, they are defensive and hard to unlock but the onus is on us to try to disintegrate their organisation “.

” They have a couple of experienced players who can turn the game on their own and an experienced coach, they are trying their level best to get things right as the season is waning down”.

“There has got to be a reaction since we lost points against Police in our previous fixture”

Last season at Lugogo, KCCA humiliated URA with a 7-2 scoreline that saw the then head coach Paul Nkata throw in the towel. This season in the first round at Nambole, KCCA beat URA 1-0 courtesy of a Timothy Awanyi header.

The last 10 meetings have been bossed by KCCA , having managed to win 4 and drawing 3 with URA winning on 3 occasions.

Julius Poloto and Mustafa Kizza will have to undergo a late fitness assessment to determine whether they can play a part in this game, whereas Herbat Achai is ruled out due to injury.

For URA, Allan Munaaba returns after a lengthy injury lay off but he is also doubtful due to lack of match fitness.

Goal Keeper Nafian Alionzi is also subject to a late fitness test whereas Abdallah Nyanzi may make the bench .

Victory for KCCA will propel them closer to clinching the championship with 48 points whereas URA can only consolidate 4th place above BUL Fc and Onduparaka who are only a point behind.
