Ben Ocen opens scoring account in Rwanda Primus League

Ugandan forward Ben Ocen scored his first goal for his new side Musanze FC in their 2-1 victory over Gorilla FC at the Ubworoherane stadium.

Ocen recently joined Musanze FC from UPL side Police FC at the start of this season on a two year contract.

He scored the first goal of the game in the 16th minute, his first in six games.

Heritier Luliloshi scored the other for Musanze while Johnson Adeaga was on target for the losing side.

Despite going five games without scoring, Ocen had provided three assists in the process, one against Bugesera FC and two against new comers Etoile de L’est.

Ocen and teammates are now 5th on the table with 10 points, four behind Dennis Rukundo’s AS Kigali who are the table leaders after six games.

Kiyovu Sports Club, home to Emma Okwi and Muzamir Mutyaba, are second on the table with 13 points. The Uganda duo was not part of Kiyovu’s 2-0 win over Etincelles on Wednesday evening.

Musanze will play against AS Kigali on Saturday 4th December in the next game.
