SC Villa head coach Wasswa Bbosa has commended his team for the “big” point they managed to scoop from Mwererwe.

The Jogoos managed  to reclaim top spot after drawing with Bright stars but their away form continues to be unpressive  having only managed 2 wins and now 6 draws.

Despite all this, Wasswa Bbosa insists that this result should be treated as a won point instead of the lost two. He says,

“We have worked so hard for this result and we think it’s more of a positive than negative, it will be very vital in the title run in”.

“Bright stars are one the most difficult teams at home and the only team to have beaten them here is Maroons FC, so we are leaving this place with our heads held high. One may say that our away form isn’t good but so is everyone in the league,  we have only lost twice”

The Villa tactician also sent a rallying cry to his team to continue working hard keep being focused on their main objective. He added,

“I urge my players to up their game situation reading, when we got the goal, they relaxed a bit a forgot that we had to defend as unit and we were punished for that, the strikers too missed a host of chances which would have won us the game”.

“This is a delicate moment where everyone has to be astute and up to task”.

SC Villa’s next game in line is a trip to the North as they take on Onduparaka FC on the 10 of March 2018.
