This season’s first serious clash will be played at the refurbished St Mary’s Stadium in Kitende when titans Vipers SC take on KCCA FC.

These are the two most in form teams in the league and they are both yet to test defeat.

The most recent 6 meetings between the two have seen Vipers emerge victorious on 2 occasions, KCCA once and 3 draws.

” This will be the same challenge like we have always faced when we play Vipers SC but they have a better psychological edge over us because they have a new coach, a foreign tactician.

“I believe we shall be able to see a good display because the pitch is improved, I don’t mind the game ending 5-4 as long as the fans enjoy what they paid for.

Said Mutebi while addressing the press conference in line with the clash.

Vipers’ perfect run was put on halt by their boggy side Kirinya Jinja SS whom they failed to beat for the 3rd time in arrow despite the students being reduced to 10 men.

New tactician Espinoza however refuses to press a panic button and he expects his team to move out of this game unscathed.

“We can be disappointed about the result on Tuesday in Jinja,.i think we deserved more than that but a point picked away wasn’t bad”.

“You cannot change your approach, with or without the ball we are going to have a strategy for KCCA FC and play in the way we have been playing”.

He added

Mutebi has confirmed that Filbert Obenchan will start the match after recovering from injury whereas Vipers will be the in form Livingstone Mulondo, Aggrey Madoi Derrick Ochan.

Captain Taddeo Lwanga serves his final suspension match after sitting out the stalemate in Jinja.
