BASKETBALL : Daniel Dudus completes JKL Dolphins switch

Daniel ‘Dudus’ Monoja has completed his move to JKL Dolphins Basketball club from Our Saviour BC on a two year employment contract.

Dudus who plays as a forward was delighted with the move and promised to help the 2018 National Basketball league semifinalists to better achievements.

“I was impressed by the management’s philosophy so the decision to sign was not a hard on and I am so delighted to join this club.”
I would love to contribute to JKL moving a step further from where they finished last year.” Stated Dudus on his move.

He is expected to improve the club offensively and reinforce the front court. Dudus started his basketball career in high school representing both St. Lawrence Paris Palais and Green hill Academy.

In 2015, he was part of Makerere University Basketball team that participated in the annual Zuku basketball championships and finished as bronze medalists.

At Makerere, he also featured at the FASU 3*3 in South Africa (2016) and Nairobi (2017) winning silver and earning a place to the FISU world University league. The new JKL Dolphins forward also played a pivotal role in guiding UPDF Tomahawks to National Basketball league promotion in 2015.

JKL Dolphins will start off their 2019 FUBA National Basketball league on Sunday 14th April against Dudus’ former side Our Saviour at Lugogo Indoor Stadium.
