Veteran strike Aristide Bance netted a first half brace to inspire Burkina Faso to a 2-1 win over South Sudan in a group B AFCON qualification game in Khartoum on Sunday.

South Sudan played on a neutral ground in Khartoum due to the closure of their main Stadium.

Bance fired the visitors into the lead on the 20th minute mark before adding a second eight minutes to the halftime breather.

The home side looked a better side in the second period and found a consolation deep in stoppage time thanks to a Stephen Pawaar strike.
