Bakkabulindi pledges to continue serving sports

During the National Council of Sports end of the year dinner, Minister of State for Sports Hon.Charles Bakkabulindi who was replaced by Hamson Denis Obua promised to continue serving the Sports fraternity.

“I am still with you though without you, I may not be in the ministry but I will continue serving the Sports fraternity. I am proud to have worked with each of the Federation president and I thank each for developing Sports in the country.”

“I was not dropped but substituted and I thank the President of the country for giving me the opportunity to serve in the ministry. I also thank the Minister of Education and Sports whom we have worked together in ministry.”

I will be supporting the government for sports excellence in Uganda.” He stated.

Bakkabulindi has served in the ministry for 14 years becoming the longest serving minster of State for Sports. He leaves when the purchase Mandela National Stadium, Namboole land title is three quarters done.
