Ayiekoh defiant as Kirinya JSS’ quest for first ever win against KCCA continues

KCCA FC Vs Kirinya JSS
Venue : StarTimes stadium Lugogo
Kick off: 4:30pm
Tuesday 2nd October 2018

Since their elevation to Uganda’s topflight division, a victory for Kirinya JSS against KCCA has eluded them.

They have faced off 4 times and KCCA won 3 of them with Kirinya only managing a draw at home in their maiden season.

Tomorrow Charles Ayiekoh will take his men to Lugogo searching to make history.

This time round, I don’t expect the team to concede stupid goals because we have worked on that, I know they have some respect for us due to the fight we put up last season, we are not the same side that conceded 5-1 (2016/17) season. “

Ayiekoh will have to find a solution to KCCA ‘s super sharp forwards who scored the most number of goals last season.

We have a strategy to try and stop them and I believe it will work though I can’t reveal it now.”

Kirinya will have to answer questions asked by in form KCCA forward Allan Okello

The 12 time league winners started their season on a high with an impressive 2-1 victory against Tooro United.

Tactician Mike Mutebi has highlighted that, he will allow team cohesion by selecting the same side that fetched victory in their opening game.

We are largely going to use the players that took part in the previous match, those who do the right things on the pitch will always represent us, based on form”.

Kirinya will be hoping that midfielder David Bagoole’s ITC is cleared on time for him to reinforce their attack force.

Two goal hero Joel Madondo is expected to lead the attack in the absence of first choice target Faisal Muwawu who suffered a concussion.

KCCA has the full squad available for selection save Julius Poloto who got injured against Tooro United.
