Onduparaka Fc and Vipers Sc played to a goalless draw at Betway greenlight stadium on match day 7 of the Azam Uganda premier league.
Miguel Da Costa made four changes to his starting eleven against Soana Fc, with Geoffrey Wasswa, Yayo Lutimba replacing Shafik Bakaki and Dan Birikwalira respectively.
Deus Bukenya was drafted in the midfield for injured Taddeo Lwanga and Tony Odur starting ahead of Mousa Mbayi.
The first stanza was a half of few scoring opportunities with neither side failing to break the deadlock.
Before half time break, Vipers Sc was forced into early substitution when talisman Tony Odur got injured in the 38th minute and being replaced by Mousa Mbayi.
The second half saw the visitors piling pressure on the home side but failing to penetrate, their best chance came in the 70th minute when Baden Mujahid’s forced Nicholas Ssebwato into a save.
Both side had to settle for a point by full time whistle.
The home side made the following changes, Bida Ezra, Ceaser Okhuti on for Karim Ndugwa and Kabon Living while Vipers introduced on Moses Waiswa for Tom Masiko.
Milton Karisa and Nicolas Wadada and Deus Bukenya were all booked for Vipers Sc while Rashid Mohammad received yellow on the hosts side.
A point against Vipers Sc moves Onduparaka Fc to the summit whereas Vipers Sc lies in 4th position on the Azam Premier league log.
Vipers Sc next play a visit to Mbarara City whereas Onduparaka will visit BUL Fc on match day 8.
