The tax collectors ran riot against BUL FC with a convincing 4-0 victory at Mandela National Stadium.
URA FC came into this game needing nothing less than a win due to the high pressure that was mounting on Ibrahim Kirya following a string of poor results.
The first goal of the game came in the 12th minute when defender Fred Okot cut along range cross from the left flank past the BUL defenders to meet Charles Sempa who shot straight to the goal past the BUL shotstopper Hannington Ssewarunnyo into the back of the net.
Play continued with URA still dominating but failed to find a second goal till the end of the first half.
In the 45th minute , Mike Ndera threatened the URA fc defence when he tried a long range shot that was puched wide for a corner by Mathias Muwanga the URA goalkeeper.
The second half of the game started on a high not for the hosts with IRA looking more energised and there first attack paid off immediately when Henry Kisekka scored a beautiful header off a Charles Sempa assist from a corner kick.
Abdul Rahman Ajab extended the lead beyond BUL’s reach with another superb finish, capitalising on a poorly cleared back pass by Hannington Ssewalunnyo.
Dickson Kigongo put the icing on the cake with a 94th minute effort to subject BUL to their heaviest defeat of the season.
The win takes URA fc to the 6th position with 8 points while BUL is 13th on the 16 team log with 5 points.
In their next game , URA will visit Bright stars fc in Mwererwe Matugga on 24th, Oct ,2017 while BUL fc will host Express fc on 27th, Oct, 2017.
