The hosts come into this game after edging Ondupakara 1-0 last Saturday courtesy of a Fred Amaku goal. UPDF also won their last game against Mbarara City with the similar scoreline of 1-0 thanks to a Sulaiman Majanjalo penalty.

The previous 3 meetings between Kirinya Jinja SS and the armyside has produced 2 wins for Kirinya Jinja SS and one for the armyside.

When the two met up in the first round of this season, the Jinja outfit managed to get a slim 1-0 victory through a Fred Amaku strike towards the end of first half.

Kirinya has won 5 of the 9 games they have hosted losing only one and drawing the other two. On the other hand, UPDF have a poor form away from home as they have registered only one victory on the road so far losing the other 7 and drawing twice.

UPDF FC will only miss the services of skipper Denis Sekitoleko who is suspended due to accumulated yellow cards.

Steven Bogere the UPDF tactician will hope to rely on the form of Sulaiman Majanjalo, Fahad Bardiro and Joseph Janjali to stretch their unbeaten run to 7 games.

His opposite number, Charles Ayiekoh will look up to forwards Fred Amaku who has scored 7 goals so far this season and Musa Esenu to earn maximum points.

A win can further push UPDF far away from the red mark to as high as the 10th position whereas Kirinya Jinja SS can dislodge Ondupakara from the 4th position if they get any positive result.
