Tomorrow Police FC will climb to the summit of the Azam premier league log if they manage to dispatch Proline FC who are struggling for form after only managing to collect 1 point from their first 2 fixtures.
Police are currently lying in 3rd with 4 points 1 only below 1st placed KCCA FC, whereas Proline are yet to win a game this season. Proline come into this game low on confidence having lost to lowly Masavu in their previous match at home on Tuesday.
New Police recruits Gift Ali and defender Denis Makooba Bigala will face off against their former employers for the first time if picked to start by Abdallah Mubiru who is also a former coach at Proline Soccer Academy.
Police have no serious injury concerns, only midfielder Samuel Kayongo will miss out.
Proline are expecting to be lifted by the return of former players Sula Matovu and Ivan Bukenya who have received clearance from the federation. Savio Kabugo has also returned to the club, following his unsuccessful trial stint in South Africa.
Loanee Joseph Semujju who joined from Vipers SC, Daniel Isiagi and Joseph Mandela will all be available for selection but young midfielder Nurdine Bunjo continues to be sidelined through injury.
This fixture produced only one goal last season after the two teams playing to a goalless draw at Nambole and Police defeated Proline in the return fixture at Lugogo by 1-0.
