AUPL MATCH PREVIEW: Mbarara city FC host in form Police FC

The Ankole Lions host Police in the first ever meeting at Kakyeka Stadium in Mbarara as they are yet to loose a game home

Mbarara City comes in this game without out Santos Hakizimana, Bonifance Amani, Makweth Wol and Swed Setugombo due to injuries while Hilary Mukundane is expected back after missing out in their last game.

Mbarara City will put their trust in Asuman Alishe, Pistis Balenge and goalkeeper Ali Kimera to continue with their unbeaten home run.

Police FC will bank on the services of Norman Ogik, Juma Balinnya, Albert Mugisa, and in form Hood Kaweesa who scored a brace as they beat Vipers SC in their last game. The team has no injury concerns with all players fit for selection.

Mbarara City coach Vialli Bainomugisha is expectant that his team will bounce back from their heavy defeat to Proline. He says,

“We lost the Proline match because of off the pitch factors we arrived a bit late and we were playing on the turf. However we are now set for today’s game because we have worked on the errors we made against Proline and the goal scoring part. We expect three points”

Mbarara City lost their last game away to Proline 0-3 as Police defeated Vipers SC home 2-1.
