KCCA have played to a goalless draw against URA, their 3rd for the season in four games taking their tally of points to 6.
The visitors came into this game after hammering Onduparaka fc 4:1 in their previous game at Lugogo but failed to get on the scoreboard for the second time in 4 games.
The hosts on the other hand came into the game trying to pick up the broken pieces having failed to break Maroons at Luzira.
Both teams failed to create enough chances in the game with the best opportunity for the hosts coming after 27 minutes when midfielder Saidi Kyeyune’s shot was saved by KCCA fc custodian Benjamin Ochan.
At the beginning of the second period, new signing Allan Kateregga was brought in to replace the quiet Jackson Nunda and in the 60th minute, Kateregga tried a long range shot which bounced to beat the URA goalkeeper into the back of the net but referee Denis Batte had ruled striker Derrick Nsibambi in an offside position.
The vistors were not a threat either and their best opportunity came at only 5 minutes to the end of the 90 minutes when striker Derrick Nsibambi got a goalkeeper to beat opportunity only to be saved by the URA shot stopper Mathias Muwanga to keep the hosts in the game.
