KCCA FC were held to a barren draw by struggling side Masavu FC whose captain Abraham Ndugwa and fellow forward Arthur Ssemazzi must stand to be blamed for a goalless game for the hosts.

Masavu FC were the underdogs going into this fixture. KCCA who stood 3rd on the table of 16 teams were favorites for the win having walloped the Bugonga based side a humiliating 6-0 in the first round of the season and given the status of the hosts on the table where they sit a distant 15th.

However, things never turned out as expected for the visitors with the home side dominating play and they had more of defensive work than attacking.

The hosts will curse their lead forwards Arthur Ssemazzi and skipper Abraham Ndugwa who put a host of goal scoring opportunities to waste especially in the second half of the game.

Mike Mutebi’s substitutes of Patrick Kaddu who came on for Musamali Paul, Denis Okot who replaced Peter Magambo and Lawrence Bukenya who came on for Solomon Okwalinga could not yield results by full time either.

The draw takes Masavu to 17 points from 18 league games and they remain in the drop zone while KCCA FC goes to 33 points and remain in the 3rd position on the table of 16 teams.
