14th placed BUL FC play host to UPDF FC in search of first win of the season at Kakindu Stadium in Jinja.

UPDF who are currently 7th on the log, come into today’s fixture after pulling a 1-0 result against Express in Bombo last week. BUL FC are yet to register a win this season and have managed 2 draws yielding 2 points in the possible 9.

The hosts will be without midfielder Patrick Sembuya who starts serving a 3 match suspension after being sent off in the previous match against Kirinya JSS. Musa Walangarira, Martin Kivumbi, Umaru Mukobe and Shaka Ssozi have been declared fit after sustaining injuries in the Jinja derby while Striker Jean Pierre Mwindu is yet to receive clearance.

UPDF FC have no new injury concern as striker Julius Malingumu remains on the sidelines. Left back Isaa Mubiru who was stretched off in the previous match, has shaken off a knock and will make his way in the starting eleven.

The previous two meetings between the two have all ended in the army side’s favour. Last season, Godfrey Wakaza ‘s 15th minute goal was the difference at Kakindu while the reverse fixture also ended 2-O.
