Bright stars in training preparing for tomorrow’s game against Maroons FC

5th placed Bright stars FC will host Maroons FC who are yet to win a game of football this season after drawing 2 and losing two.
The last time these two sides faced off in Mwererwe saw Bright stars edge Maroons 1-0 in the 2015/16 season. The first leg tie ended 0-0 in Luzira.
Bright stars will be under the guidance of assistant coach Paul Kiwanuka with Fred Kajoba serving his final game under suspension.
Kiwanuka says that his team will build on their previous impressive performance against Kirinya Jinja S. S to take care of Maroons.
“We hope to build on our previous game against Kirinya and we are not taking any team for granted, all the teams are powerful and we are set for a tough game against a good Maroons side”.
” All the boys are ready and set for fighting for all 3 points from this game. We only have two or three minor knocks but we shall work with those that are fit and ready for the game.” Added Kiwanuka.
Bright stars will rely on the form of inspirational Captain Nelson Senkatuka who is also among the front runners for the league golden boot. The scorer’s charts indicate that Senkatuuka has 2 goals this season after his goal against Mbarara city being adjudged for an own goal.
The Bright stars skipper echoes the words of his coach and he also highlights the importance of tomorrow’s game. He says,
” The last training has been very good, the spirit is high and everyone looks to be fit even though I have been away with the national team we hope to build on the win against Kirinya Jinja S. S.”
“ We need to secure these 3 points against Maroons because our next fixtures are tough which is against KCCA and URA. We need to execute the coach’s plans tomorrow, entertain the fans, play good football and score goals.”
Maroons will look to beginning on the redemption of their season against a side that boats of a very impressive home record. Maroons are yet to score a goal this season and they need to begin finding their boots early. There are no injury reports from their camp.
