Kirinya Jinja SS forward Fred Amaku continued with a fine goal scoring record as his side edged Proline FC 1-0 at the StarTimes Stadium in Lugogo.

The former Paidha Black Angels marksman tapped in from close range to capitalize on a lapse in the hosts’ defense in the 29th minute netting his 5th goal of the campaign.

Amaku’s strike ensured Charles Ayiekoh men manage a double over Proline since the Jinja outfit won the first round encounter 2-1 at Bugembe last October.

The slim victory takes Kirinya Jinja SS to the 7th place while Proline are hovering just above the drop zone with 17 points in the 13th position.

Proline will visit bottom placed UPDF FC at Bombo on Tuesday while Kirinya Jinja SS welcomes Police FC at Bugembe in their next fixture.
