The Uganda Cranes lost to Ethiopia in a build up friendly friendly as they prepare to face Kenya and Mali in the qualifiers to Qatar 2020.
Despite the loss, Yanga Africans midfielder Khalid Aucho remains adamant that the Cranes have the ability to win the forthcoming matches.
“The mood is good in the camp and all players are ready and willing to deliver the best so we ask our fans back home to fully support us. We are ready to collect all the points in the two games.”
“The training is good, the coaches have prepared everything well. We are facing a good side but that will not stop us from defeating them “
the midfielder added.
The team is expected to fly from Bahir Dar airport to Addis Ababa Bole International airport at 6:00pm before setting off to Nairobi Kenya on Monday 30th at 11:00pm.
They will play Kenya on Thursday 2nd September at Nyayo International Stadium Nairobi before facing off with Mali four days later at St Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.
